Discovery / Re: Exclude Nodes from LAG Interfaces?
« on: January 09, 2019, 02:08:10 pm »
Does the lastseen timestamp still get updated on those nodes? When you add debugging (-db), you should see lines like this:

DBG :$mc on $if vl$vl ignored due to NOP

Oh you have right, I didn't realize that the timestamp was not updated any longer. In the meantime the wrong mapping is gone on my test-switch (I think after round about 30 days).

Is there a manuall way to "re-map" old entrys, without deleting the Nodes? I would like to keep the Node Details and History, but want to get rid of the old wrong mappings.

Update, only one last switch doesnt "switch" from IP to sysname and it still mapped to a "Class Node Event" (Monitoring-Events.php)

(Also this Device BaseMAC (Enterasys) is listed in nedi.conf under ignoredmac - See https://forum.nedi.ch/index.php?topic=2156.0)

Problem gone since changing the Hostnamen on the Switch

Hello Community,

I would like to get an overview about all Ethernetsports which are only negotiated with 10Mbit/s.

Tried it via Devices-Interfaces.php and with..

(IF Type = '6' AND Status = '3') AND (Speed = '10M')

.. but I don't get any results. Only when I filter only for Type 6 and Status 3.

What I'm doing wrong with the RegEx :)?

Thanks,
Jan

Discovery / VLAN Index OID for "VMware ESXi" ?
« on: October 25, 2018, 06:43:52 pm »
Hello,

does anyone have the SNMP OID for VLAN Index on "VMware ESXi.6.5.0.9298722.2.57" (SysObjId 1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.4.1) ?

At the moment I only get the correct VLAN Names via f.e.:

enterprises.6876.2.4.1.4.1.4: "TEST_FOO-VLAN054"

Cheers,
Jan

Discovery / VLAN Index OID for "HP VC Flex-10/10D Module" ?
« on: October 25, 2018, 03:48:15 pm »
Hello,

does anyone have the SNMP OID for VLAN Index on "HP VC Flex-10/10D Module 4.62 2018-01-26T07:20:40Z" (SysObjId 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.5.7.5.4) ?

I got the correct VLAN Names via f.e.:

enterprises.11.5.7.5.2.1.1.6.1.1.2.1: "VC1_VLAN10_ilo"

But when I try to map this to the VLAN ID, I didn't get the VLAN ID 10 but VLAN 1:

enterprises.11.5.7.5.2.1.1.6.1.1.1.1: 1

Thanks,
Jan

Discovery / Re: pb decoding MAC wih HPVC HP VC FlexFabric 10Gb/24-Port
« on: October 25, 2018, 03:39:31 pm »
Hello Richard,

[..]
I don't know if other people using HPVC HP VC FlexFabric 10Gb/24-Port have the same problems.

Tx
richard

Semi-Offtopic: Do you have a proper VLAN Name and VLAN Index Mapping in your setup? I get the VLAN Names with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.5.7.5.2.1.1.6.1.1.2 but I didn't find the OID to the proper VLAN ID.

Cheers,
Jan

Installation / Re: Error update Nedi 1.6 to 1.7C
« on: October 22, 2018, 12:05:43 pm »
Hi,

make sure that your php max_upload_filesize & post_max_size is high enough.

In addition to that the error message often occour, when an webserver doesn't has the permissions to modify folders/files on the filesystem.

I have the same "problems" and need to do an manual update.. soon

Cheers,
Jan
