Bridge-Aggregation problem
« on: January 20, 2015, 07:29:06 pm »
We are using Bridge-Aggregation between our floor switches and our distributed core switch for failover.

However, Nedi does not discover the nodes on the floor switch ports, it assigns the nodes to the Bridge-Aggregation.

So each floor switch never has nodes attached to them. The Bridge-Aggregation will have the nodes attached to them.

How can I configure Nedi to not attache the nodes to the Bridge-Aggregation, but to the ports on the floor switches?

I am using the NeDiO9 ISO.

Thanks

That really should be fixed in the upcoming 1.4. Just posted a similar answer literaly seconds ago, it'll be available for the public soon :-)

Sorry for updating this thread but i cannot find any response.
What configuration must be made in Nedi to support mcbride66's scenario ?

Thanks in advance

This should be detected automatically by now (or the upcoming 1.9 version). If that fails you can mark interfaces to avoid population in Devices-Interfaces (tutorial coming soon too). I'll release 1.9 to the public in the coming weeks...
