Cisco devices running 12.2 images don't work with device write

Hi all,
My Cisco devices running IOS 15.x seem to work great with device write, but the ones running 12.2 don't. I don't get anything back from them in the Action List under device write and it doesn't work. Any clues? Does it not work with 12.2 for some reason?

Not that I know. Can you try on a single device with a command like "show ver"?
