Just in case it could help some one here ..
It did work without issue after copying the list from a text editor instead of an excel sheet ..
I don't know the reason behind that ..

Hi All;

I am trying to use the devices list on the cli write page but I get as a result "no devices".
Can we use IP addresses list or we have to use Devices names .. I tried both lists.

I am trying to figure out how to monitor an interface status ;
I have gone through the Nedi guide ; it says that's possible
"IF oper-status can be monitored as well (e.g. on router or server switches)"
but could not find how ..

Issue solved

After downloading version 2.0C; it was just a matter of replacing 2.1C by 2.0C in the download link
Applying the 2.0C update then the DB update
Re-applying 2.1C update and the DB update again ..
Everything running fine now

Installation / Issue updating from version 1.9.100 to 2.1.071

Hello;

I found Nedi version 2.1C on the website while I had version 1.9C ..
So I searched for version 2.0 but could not find it , and then just updated from version 1.9C but now I get this error when I try to update the DB
DB version 1.9.100 cannot be updated to 2.1.071
Is there any fix for this.

Definition Files / Defgen for Cambium PMP+SM

Dear;

I am trying to add some oid's to the existing def ..
Like CPU , temperature , Radio receive power but It's not working for me ..
I have the correct OID's but inserting them in CPU, Temperature and custom does not give me any reading
It seems to be a type mismatch as putting them in fan status as an example gives the right value ..

Finally found the solution after checking mysql error log ..
After increasing the disk size
I had to rename ( or remove ) /var/lib/mysql/tc.log

Dear All;

I am facing a problem of not being able to login and getting the error message on subject
I am getting also ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2 "No such file or directory") on console.
This happened to me before because of disk space and I had to delete a file after increasing the disk space to get it working again
The problem I am not able to find which file to delete ( I don't remember well but it was either a temporary or log file )

The solution in the link worked fine ..
Found the init admin password hash ..
executed db then update users table with the found hash.

I lost the Admin password (Nedi 1.7) and I am looking for a way to reset it ..
