Hello together,

i'm working on a def file for the Brocade SAN Switch within a Bladecenter

Sadly i didn't find a guide in the Defgen Howto
maybe someone has an idea how to fix ist

Helloi've exactly th same problem with my brocade def.
Can't have the alias, because, i think, the index is different for the alias ( 1,2,3....24) than the index of name (805306371...1073741824...)

do you have a solution?

Reviving an old thread :)

If you find an OID with a mapping of the interface indexes to the aliases, you can set that in "Alias Index" in Defed. It should look like:

1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.......1 = 805306371
1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.......2 = 805306372
etc.
