backup not working with Device
« on: February 17, 2010, 12:12:35 PM »
backup configurations are working properly with my Devices and TACACS.
but some devices do not use TACACS but a password and enable password. and the backup does not work for these devices.
I use SSH and not Telnet.

nedi.conf:

usr password enablepassword

# Regexp to match username prompt (useful if you set something else on auth server):
userlogin (username | login)

nedi script:

./nedi.pl -vdba 192.168.xxx.xxx
Started with relative path
LWP loaded
Net::SSH::Perl not available
OUI:    15969 NIC vendor entries read
DEV:    746 devices read from nedi.devices
LINK:   0 links (WHERE type = "STAT") read from nedi.links
192.168.xxx.xxx added for discovery

try:
usr dummy pw enapw

The username is required as a reference, even though it's not used on the switch...
Please consider Other-Invoices on your NeDi installation for an annual contribution, tx!
