tx, just make sure I got it right in the upcoming beta  :)

The way alias is handled goes back to CatOS! I probably should change that for clearness, yes (whenever time permits).

Today I remarked that one pair of my Nexus 5000 is not working any more with Nedi. But obviously it was not Nedis fault, because the Dot1 tables of the switch are empty for almost any VLAN. And for the VLANs where they are not empty, the tables contain only the uplink ports. So it's impossible to read mac/port tables with SNMP. On the command line, the output is just fine.
Very weird, I'll update the Nexus to the newest version and hope it works better.

Have yo played with maxmsgsize yet? You can easily adjust it in the Connect() function call...

Yes, the message size was not the problem. This one has a relatively small entityMIB, just one FEX connected at the moment.
We updated them to the newest release and had a nightmare with very strange connection problems and packet loss.  :o >:( When downgrading, one of the Nexus ended up dead :P >:( Damn beta products.
Now obviously I don't know what was wrong, but something was very wrong. I prefer a small SNMP problem to big connection problems... oh and now that one half of the switch is down, SNMP is working :)

Thanks for your detailed and accurate work (as usual). I actually removed the default, to improve efficiency. ...1.1.18 is required now, if you wish to see any aliases. I'll amend the .def and include it.
