Option order matter?
« on: June 04, 2009, 10:19:25 PM »
I found that when I do:
./nedi.pl -probu <seedfile>
I get more backups of configs than with:
./nedi.pl -pubro <seedfile>

the seedfile is an argument to -u hence should follow it. Otherwhise you just do protocol, route and oui discovery with the defaultseeds (gw)...
Please consider Other-Invoices on your NeDi installation for an annual contribution, tx!

Thanks rickli,

-probu is ok then?  What I have done is to use nmap (port 22 and 23 only) to discover all the cisco devices on our network and then use that set of IPs as the seedfile, but I can't be 100% sure I got them all so I want discovery used on them.
