Discovery of management interface

Hi
I have a 3850 switch with the management interface online. But the interface counters doesn't count on that interface and nedi is giving me an error at every discovery. Is there any way around this?

Gi0/0 is CDPD  did not receive any traffic did not send any traffic

Workaround could be adding the device to monitoring (set test to none, if you don't want to check the uptime). Then filter this device in Monitoring-Setup, select event->discard, enter Gi0/0 is CDPD and click update. This will supress those warnings...
