Config Backup Issue - HP Procurve

Hi,

I am trying to get backups of the configs off of all of the HP Procurve switches on my network. The weird thing is all of the switches, that NeDi has discovered are backing up fine, EXCEPT a handful of them. They are giving me the "Connection pattern match timed out" error and then set the CLI port to 1. I ran a side-by-side comparison of the switches that aren't working to the ones that are. Their configurations are EXACTLY the same, word-for-word, character-for-character (with exception to name/IP). Below is the error from the readout after resetting CLI, and running config backup manually:

ERR0:pattern match timed-out
DISC:Cli config = connection pattern match timed-out
EVNT:MOD=B/1 L=150 CL=cfge TGT=AJCN-Backbone-HP3500 MSG=Config backup error: connection pattern match timed-out

Write Device Info -------------------------------------------------------------
WDEV:AJCN-Backbone-HP3500 written to nedi.devices
DISC:ToDo/Done-Time                  0/1-23s



Any ideas? I have already tried rebooting said switches with no luck.

Well, ProCurve is nasty as they send a lot of escape sequences. Please watch the CLI tutorial for information on debugging this...
Please consider Other-Invoices on your NeDi installation for an annual contribution, tx!
