CLI access recognition Telnet/SSH
« on: August 18, 2014, 10:23:16 AM »
Hi

I have a device in LAN (Brocade switch) that been discovered as support only SSH (TCP22)  protocol for CLI access.
Really, this device supports Telnet (TCP23) and not SSH.
This causes NeDi to be rejected from CLI access for Link discovery and configuration backup.

Please advise how to fix access definition.

Regards
Lev

You can force telnet for a certain IP like this in nedi.conf:

maptp      192.168.2.1   23

Question is though, why it thinks the SSH connection succeeds? You should be able to find out, when following the CLI tutorial video...
