Temperature in OctetString
« on: December 09, 2013, 04:23:51 PM »
Hi there..

i try to get the temperature of the hp 2920 sw and found in the mib and via search the following:
1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.1.2.8.1.1.3.0 = 30C

I tried to use the value but without luck. I still get the error "ERR :Temp, "
I think it is caused by the octetstring? Is it possible to use that somehow or is it better to ignore the temperature in this case?
Where do i have to look?

Bernd

Looks like it! I'll try to catch that and find out if it was even intentional on those switches as all other ProVision devices report integer...
