Discovery range
« on: July 30, 2013, 03:04:41 PM »
Hi,
i discovered my network with the "starting point for discovered" configured.
Now i have to discover a network not linked by the CDP.
How i can set Nedi to try to discover all router/switch with no starting point? (e.g. the 10.10.0.0/16 network)

NeDi is a quiet tool and scanning a range only made it in there a year ago! You can scan only a 24 bit subnet like this:  nedi.pl -a 10.10.10

However it's fairly simple to use contrib/flood.pl 10.10 and do arp -an|awk '{print $2}' after that to create a seedlist...
Please consider Other-Invoices on your NeDi installation for an annual contribution, tx!
