How do i configure discovery to avoid two subnets:

Do i configure two netfilters in nedi.conf
netfilter       ^(?!172.16.233).*$
netfilter       ^(?!172.16.250).*$
or use
netfilter       ^(?!172.16.233).*$|^(?!172.16.233).*$

netfilter is being used as a single variable, thus the latter will do...

Are the discovered ips just string matched against the netfilter variable or is there an ip subnet calculation included? I would say, is it possible to scan networks smaller or bigger than /8, /16 or /24? How do I define a network like 172.18.6.120/25 or 172.18.124.0/23 avoiding repetitions of the string?

Yours, Daniel

It's only a regexp against the IP string for now...
