backup Nexus conf error
« on: December 20, 2012, 08:36:34 AM »
Hi,

I try to backup my nexus 5596 conf with Nedi.
I get the following error:

I use Nedi 1.0.7 with patch 1.0.7-1

Code: [Select]
Config (CLI)   ----------------------------------------------------------------
SSH :nedi:22 Tout:2s OS:NXOS EN:(.+?)#\s?$
PTY :Forking ssh -o 'StrictHostKeyChecking no' -l nedi x.x.x.x
CLI2:Matched Password:, sending password
CLI3:Password sent
CLI8:Matched enable prompt, OK
CMD :show running-config include-switch-profile
Use of uninitialized value $misc::curcfg[0] in concatenation (.) or string at /var/nedi/inc/libcli-iopty.pm line 828.
ERR :No config ()

Have you an idea? Is there a way to make it work?

Thanks

I finally found the solution...

Modify the   libcli-iopty.pm file

Code: [Select]
$cmd{'NXOS'}{'strt'} = '.';
$cmd{'NXOS'}{'page'} = 'term length 0';
#$cmd{'NXOS'}{'strt'} = '^begin'
#$cmd{'NXOS'}{'page'} = 'set length 0';

I have this in 108. Would that work too?

$cmd{'NXOS'}{'strt'} = '^begin|running-config';
