Switch resets set last time to zero
« on: August 07, 2012, 01:50:58 AM »
Gidday,

When our switches get power reset I see the Last Status Change column is reset to zero (fair enough). Is this retrieved each polling time from the switch or is calculated and stored in the database somehow. Ideally, it'd keep the last time it saw a client on it as it's suddenly got hard to find old unused ports after a campus wide power outage. Or is there another column somewhere that displays the last time the port saw a client vs the Last Status Change?

Cheers

Alastair

There will be in 1oh8. From the changelog:

- New fields in interface table for storing status change, discards and broadcasts
Please consider Other-Invoices on your NeDi installation for an annual contribution, tx!
