device info, top 5/10 link?
« on: May 08, 2012, 05:50:19 PM »
Hi,

I used nedio 5 before migrating to a centos 6.2 with nedi 1.0.7.

what i do with nedi is only in snmp read and let nedi read the config of all my switch to establish a database of device and map...

this is because i give access to all the it department to nedi soo they dont have to call the network infracstructure team when they want to check the vlan on the port of their switch and/or retrace a computer, etc....

In nedio 5 when a user clicked on device he was able to see in the top right of his screen all the cdp device (useful to see how many phone are connected to the switch and on wich port)

however on my new install it is no longer the cdp device but the top 5 or 10 links.

is there a way to show it like in nedio 5?

thank you

rickli

It's tied to the limit setting in User-Profile. I did this, so Dev-Satus stays compact, even on core devices. There will be a Topo-Link module in the next version. Alternatively you can use LinkEd to show all links of a device for now...
Please consider Other-Invoices on your NeDi installation for an annual contribution, tx!
