Discover Wireless Nodes on Cisco WLC
« on: March 15, 2012, 03:15:33 PM »
Hi,

I have written a patch for nedi 1.0.7 to read the wireless client mac addresses out of the WLC.
To use this, apply the patch and set the parameter "Bridge" to "wlc" in the .def file.
Currently I set the interface index of the client fixed to 9, which is the virtual interface on my AIR-CT5508.
This should be changed in future to detect the correct interface.
A nice feature would be to add the AP's as interfaces and bind the mac's to the correct ap interfaces.

Have fun with it.

Regards

Udo

Thanks, fits into my plan to support those controllers as announced  :) I'll look into it...
