Discovery / Possible to ignore or exclude switchports from event monitoring?

I'd like to clean up the monitor events a bit: I get a ton of notice messages with class nedq and content like "LLDP sees xxxxxx with unusable IP on 36". So in this case for example, I'd like to ignore events from port 36 (or even better, THIS event in particular).
