Title: unknown device types are no loger printed in v 1.0.4, so defgen dead?
Post by: shadowcaster on April 24, 2009, 02:29:05 PM
it is just me or v 1.0.4 don't offer to edit .def file and don't print oids for unknown device types any more? I was tryind to debug, but it shows type as "-" even in debug. How to replicate: move all .def somewhere and attemp discovery.  :)

Same thing here, although defgen works fine as long as you know the device's OID.

Oh another thing I forgot to mention explicitly  :-\ Upon user request I've added a new column in devices: sysobj with a permanent link...

Ah I see :) I guess this is a nice thing that you can see the SysOID now even when a type is already assigned...
