Title: Threshold Device Temperature in snmp definition files does not work
Post by: starrag on February 13, 2019, 01:58:57 PM
Hi,
the threshold device temperature in snmp definition files does not work. The value is hardcoded to 75C.  For some extreme network devices this is to low (normal operating temperature at 89C).
If i replace $main::dev{$na}{ttr} with $misc::sysobj{$so}{ttr} in libsnmp.pm the comparison will work.

The value in the .def should be used as default upon the first discovery of a device. Afterwards you can change it in Devices-List by clicking the edit (yellow notepad) icon. You may want to filter on a device type first and then update all of them together...
