Title: Update 1.9C to 2.0C
Post by: gregs202 on March 26, 2021, 08:58:51 pm
When attempting the 1.9C to 2.0C update I get the error: Errors Read nedi-2.0C.npkg. What does this mean and how to I proceed?

I had a simular problem when downloading via Chrome. It seems that Chrome does something to the file (unpacking?).
When I tried Internet Explorer it worked fine.

So, I know what a .pkg is, what is a .npkg? Is this specific to NeDi? I tried downloading with Internet Explorer, but still get the same error.

Upgraded by hand using this tutorial:

npkg = pkg = tgz :-)

I moved away from just pkg as it could be confused with a Debian package. I replaced tgz as Chrome would decompress it upon download, breaking the update process via NeDi GUI...

When I got this message, it was because my PHP settings were set to "upload_max_filesize   2M".

I edited the php.ini file to 20M and restarted both php8.0-fpm and nginx.  Now the upgrade worked.

This old post talks about this more:
